Kia ora, my name is Freya. I am a mum of four amazing children and am currently in my third year of studying to become a qualified early childhood teacher. I have been part of the team at NELC for almost four years, where I have had the opportunity to build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and kaiako. I love being a teacher because I enjoy supporting children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them. Seeing tamariki develop confidence, achieve new milestones, and knowing I have played a part in their learning journey is incredibly rewarding.
